We are extremely pleased to announce that for the second year running, Bridges has been awarded the coveted Supplier of the Year at the Costain Awards 2016.
Matthew Bridges, Managing Director, attended the awards ceremony, held at The Monastery in Manchester on the 9th of February, along with John Bolt, Finance Director.
The award was presented by David Taylor – Costain Group Commercial Director and Jason Bradbury of The Gadget Show.
Mr Bridges said: “This is an outstanding achievement and an unprecedented win having now won both Water Sector Supply Chain Partner and Group Supply Chain Partner for two years running. This recognition represents our dedication to continually improve; and also the outstanding team work of every Bridges’ employee. Well done team!”

2015: We are extremely proud to announce that Bridges Electrical Engineers Ltd, has has been awarded the coveted Supply Chain Partner of the Year for 2015 at Costain’s Annual Awards ceremony. This special event also marked Costains 150th anniversary held at The Pavilion at the historic Tower of London, one of the capital’s most iconic buildings.
Costain Chief Executive Andrew Wyllie said “We were delighted to receive a record 1294 nominations from around the business for the awards. To be shortlisted is therefore an achievement in itself and all of those who have been shortlisted have done something extraordinary”.
The glittering evening’s high point was the presentation of the awards in eleven categories. Accepting the Supply Chain Partner of the Year Award for Bridges, Matt Bridges (MD), said “This represents recognition of the experience of our teams and their dedication to our safety commitments and performance, along with the relationships that we have worked to build with our partners”.
