A recently completed intelligent MCC (Motor Control Centre) was installed at this Water Treatment Works for our client.

This upgrade was part of the ambitious grid scheme linking 74km of pipework to move water from areas of surplus to areas with low supply.

The scheme included seven 200kW / 160kW Siemens Sinamics G120 inverters, two active harmonic filters, three Siemens 2500A ACBs coupled with a Siemens S7-300 PLC with three Profibus networks split into 8 segments.

This control panel was one of ten control panels designed, manufactured and tested in house by the off site build team.
